About Us
Our Story
The Dyslexia Achievement Center, LLC is owned by Nicole Boyington. Nicole is an Occupational Therapist and a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist. Nicole purchased the Dyslexia Achievement Center in 2021 and has opened new locations in Southeastern Wisconsin. She also went to an employee model in January of 2023, rather than a collection of independent contractors. Being a mom of three children with learning differences helps make her passionate about advocacy and helping others navigate through different learning types and styles.
Dyslexia Achievement Center, LLC was founded in 2010 by Barbara Felix, as a private practice tutoring clinic for dyslexia students of any age. The goal of Dyslexia Achievement Center has always been to support students with reading concerns using the Orton Gillingham approach. All of our Dyslexia Interventionists are trained, and certified in Orton Gillingham / Science of Reading. The Orton-Gillingham approach uses a multisensory, structured, phonic, concentrated method for teaching people diagnosed with dyslexia.
Our Vision
Enriching the lives of people through improved reading comprehension and overall literacy.
Students must be taught explicitly and in a multisensory way to succeed in reading. Literacy can impact all areas of life as it is needed for someone to be independent in the community.
Our Mission
Provide private dyslexia intervention and complementary services throughout a student’s lifespan which help them become independent in their academic endeavors.
